Sometime in the middle of last week someone stole our baby and gave us a new one. On Thursday morning the baby that awoke in his basket suddenly cried much less, plays much more, and decided to sleep through the night.
For the last two nights Marcus has gone down at 9.00pm and woken up at 7.00am (give or take 5 minutes each side). When he wakes up he doesn't cry - he looks around the room for 15 minutes quite contentedly. In the evening he's happy (sometimes ecstatic) to lie under his play gym for an hour playing with things with his mum and dad playing with him. It's been a transformation.
Every parent has this sort of thing but it's great when it happens. I was telling this to a friend who lives around the corner this morning - she was telling me how her 16 month old daughter has now stopped sleeping through the night, so we'll enjoy it while we can!!!
A blog site for Shelley and Karl to update friends and family on them and the boys.

Hooray! Good for you
Now enjoy it for all it's worth.
Alex was great until we got to Paris, and then it all turned to custard.
Lately he seems to waking up worried about monsters - something to do with reading books like Where the Wild Things Are and The Gruffalo I think, but all the others are so dull!
Cheers
Russ
