We have recently had a large rug made for our lounge - as you can see the lounge floor is floor-boards. The rug is designed to make the room a bit warmer, cosier and safer for Marcus as he rolls around. It's pretty big, about 3.5m by 3m and covers most of the floor - plenty of room for a small guy to play on. However, when he's put down on it, he heads straight for the edge to go and play on the floorboards.
As you can also see, he's learning to crawl. Unfortunately, he hasn't got to grips with going forward, only rolling and going backwards. So we've had to rescue him from under the couch several times!
