Marcus and his dad like to read at the end of the day. The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a favourite at the moment. Note the very wet patch on my shoulder where he'd just been!

Having a play
It's been a while since we've blogged. I've put some photos on tonight and Shelley will put a 3 1/2 month update later tonight or tomorrow. It involves pain, anguish, joy, needles and teeth...
Marcus says "It ain't me"
Marcus would like to deny the rumours that he posed for the recent Listener cover story "Born Bad" . "It ain't me", he said, "I'm much better looking!"
A hooded hoodlum!
Tony Blair has declared war on hooded yoofs in UK shopping malls. Marcus says "try and catch me Blair!"
Picture of Mum
Inside his cot Marcus has this picture mum drew for him. In the morning when we go in to see if he's awake, we'll often see him staring happily at the picture!

With Drew and Harley
Yesterday Marcus met his Uncle Kerrin and his cousins Drew and Harley came around again.
First night in the cot
Last Tuesday Marcus made the big move from his "Moses Basket", which he'd grown out of, to his cot. We thought he was big. Then we saw him in the cot and he looks so wee!
Aunty Kelly
Last week Marcus met his Aunty Kelly and Uncle Simon, who came down from New Plymouth just to see him.
