Back to normal

As I indicated in the last post, Marcus was knocked about a bit by his last lot of immunisations and vaccinations. He got 3 jabs on Tuesday. For the 24 hours afterwards he was really dozy and calmer than usual. Then on Wednesday he became quite grizzly, and stopped sleeping properly - he usually happily goes down to sleep and a usual night sleep is 11 hours. He moved to screaming when we put him down and would sleep four hours at most. His feeding was really agitated.

But we've now come through the other side! He slept 11 hours last night and was a happy giggly baby before he went to bed. He also had a couple of really calm feeds.

Now onto the next challenge - this week we're introducing solids into his diet...

Marcus was 5 months old this week. It was a big week for him. Being 5 months old meant more immunisations and the 2 he was due to get coincided with his second MeNZB jab.
Before these immunisations he was in a great routine, sleeping 10 - 11 hours a night. That's now completely gone. Like the last jab he got, he's got a cold about 3 days after and isn't sleeping well anymore, managing four hours at the most. Hopefully, for his parents' sake, it'll pass soon and we'll get back into a good routine!

Marcus goes out and about quite often. This is him in his car seat (which goes back in a month) ready for a trip out of the house.
